Think not thou canst fake a smile And thy Maker be beguiled;

Think not thou canst play a stunt And thy Maker know not aught;

Think not thou canst sigh a sigh And thy Maker is not by;

Think not thou canst weep a tear And thy Maker is not near;

Think not thou canst have a need And thy Maker cannot meet;

Think not thou canst bring a knot And thy Maker cannot solve;

Think not thou canst work a work And thy Maker not reward;

Think not thou canst come to Him And thy Maker not forgive.
