"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him... In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
According to the passages above, the love of God was manifested through Christ because He is the life and light. Just like when someone is genuinely in love, that person feels very different as if he/she has entered a new and different world filled with light that makes everything so bright and also life that makes you feel like you have the energy to do things that you normally wouldn’t do, this feeling is also similar to when you live in Christ but only that the feelings are more genuine, true and can never die. Accepting Christ would lead you to begin to experience the love of God that's filled with light and life.
There is a lot of evil upon the earth due to the selfishness and greed of man, the only way God could save His people was to send a genuine light to man and that light was Christ, it is important for you to receive Christ in your life not only because he would wash away your sins but because he is the only way to live on this earth without having to experience death.
By death I mean to be expired, and an expired life is a limited life. When one is expired, one can no longer perform the functions and activities he/she ought to carry out as a living soul. Christ gives a life that can never expire, a LIFE that opens your eyes to see things beyond the thoughts and imagination of man, Jesus Christ also helps your spiritual life grow because he is the nutrient you need for growth, he gives a life that makes you function at all times no matter the situation or problem because that life has NO LIFESPAN.
Accept Jesus today and accept God's love to make you happy and at peace forever. God sent Jesus Christ to the world because he wants us to have life more abundantly and not an expired life just like the situation of some of our forefathers.
Jesus Christ is the only light that you need to receive to make you feel God living in you because your body is the temple of God and his temple should be filled with light.
Accepting Christ is not just about pleasing God but it’s about you experiencing the love that God voluntarily gave to you because the truth is that we all want to be genuinely loved and that's the reason why accepting Christ is very important and of great advantage to the world.
To let Jesus be a part of your life today I'd like you to repeat this short prayer. Lord Jesus I acknowledge that you came to this world and died, I acknowledge that I'm a sinner and only you can save me and reunite me with the father. Come into my life to today and light up my world,in Jesus name. Amen
