Making Tremendous Power Available

"...The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, [dynamic in its working] " (James 5:16)

One of the vital things we need to put into consideration in establishing God's will in our lives and the earth is the fact that it takes the power of God to have things align with God's preordained plan.

In Acts 10:38, the Word of God tells us how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him. A bonafide Son of God was filled with the Spirit of God and with power to do what He did.

The above scripture makes us understand how to make tremendous power (not just power, but tremendous power) available. It tells us that it is through earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer. Most of the time, people just pray causally; their prayer is not earnest, heartfelt or continued. That kind of praying cannot make tremendous (great) power available. When you study the life of Jesus Christ, you discover that He spent a lot of time in prayer- praying all night many times. He was making tremendous power available. There are people who do not believe in praying for long and that is because they do not understand the principles governing prayer. Some say that prayer is about the heart, so it has nothing to do with longevity. Such people need to learn from Jesus, our Lord. (In fact it is only in vital spiritual things like prayer, that most lazy Christians believe that it doesn't have to be long. That what God looks at is the heart and not how long. This is serious! I would also suggest that when they go to work, they can just stay in office for few minutes and then leave because they have already worked with hearts and it is not how long.) If you desire to make tremendous power available, you must spend time to pray, earnestly, heartfeltly, and continuously. You have to labour in prayer and you must prevail in prayer.

Make a conscious concerted effort to pray continuously and make exceedingly great power available for you. Set enough time during the day and pray. Do not succumb to those who discourage you from not spending ample time to pray. The more you pray, the more you connect to the power of God to work on your behalf and the more tremendous power is made available for a tremendous change.

Praise God!
