Sometimes when we look back down the memory lanes of our yesteryear's, all we see are chains of broken dreams, stagnation and untapped potentials. Because of these broken dreams, stagnation and untapped potentials, our today has been crippled and caged. Things are not working in our favor, so many set backs, our hopes have been scattered, and our joys too have been robbed. Situations like this, we begin to ask certain questions; why me? Or even blame others.
The scriptures says: "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 KJV
The above verse tell you that the thief who is the Devil or Satan is behind all our troubles; he is the course of our broken dreams, stagnation and untapped potentials. He robs our joys, course set backs in our lives, hijack our destinies, course divorce and separations in our marriages. He causes untimely deaths and destroy our hopes.
The Gospel (Good news) for you and I, is the coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Christ came for you and I to to have life, not only just life, but having it to it's fullness; which is also abundant life. I don't believe in Super Christianity, and you don't have to be one for God to answer your prayers. God equally loves you as He Peter and other Saints. All you need, come to Him with a desire of all you need is Him alone and Him alone can fix and settle you.
1. Kneel down before God and ask Him to forgive of every sin (name those sins before him) you committed you in Jesus Christ name.
2. Forgive everyone who has offended or sinned against you. I know some people may hurt you terribly but forgive. Forgiveness in this case, you are surrendering everything to God. Name those people before God and forgive them, if possible meet or call them too and forgive.
3. Thirdly, don't complain to God about the situations you are going through. God knows all these well before you. All you need is to reclaim what God has provided us; the finished work of Jesus Christ on that Cross of Calvary.
Begin to talk the talk of that finished work into your very life in Jesus Christ name: I am blessed and I receive it in Christ Jesus' name. I am healed and I received it in Christ Jesus' name. My marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and Satan I command you to step back in Jesus Christ name! My career and destiny that seem dead, I command them to be alive and function in Jesus Christ' name! My joy and peace which were robbed, I command you to be restored in Jesus Christ name! Father in Jesus Christ, I want my marriage back!
The above are examples of how we can reclaim what the thief has stolen from us in Jesus Christ name. In claiming, you have to speak the Word of God and this is why it is very important to read your Bible.
