Daily Tonic || The Storms Of Life (6)

Text- Psalm 93:4 – “The LORD rules supreme in heaven, greater than the roar of the ocean, more powerful than the waves of the sea.”

Today is the last day on the series, “The Storms of life” Let’s do a little recap on some of our past discussions on this subject

Firstly, we said that whenever you face storm in life, your first point of call is to do self-examination, and do away with all forms of rebellion, disobedience, and hardness of heart if there be any. Then, and only then, will you be fit to face the storms and come out victorious.

We also said whenever you face storms in life, you should not look at how tough or difficult the situation is, rather keep your focus on the Lord, and on His Word. Don’t give in to fear; don’t give way to doubts. Strengthen your faith – In every high and stormy gale, let your anchor hold within the veil.

Another thing we said was that when storms arise in life, never assume that you know it all or that you have what it takes to combat it on your own. Run to God!

Again, we said that whenever you face a storm, the best thing is to carry the anointing. Don’t despise the anointing or reject the words and instructions of the anointed

Yesterday, we learned that the ever-abiding presence of God assures us of victory, even in the midst of the fiercest storms.

Finally, today we will take a look at what Jesus did when he encountered the storms. Matthew 14: 24-25 says, “The boat was now in the middle of the sea,

distressed by the waves; for the winds were contrary. And Jesus came unto them, walking on the sea! This is incredible! Jesus didn’t have to struggle with the storms; it was simply not an issue to Him, it was a walk-over. What is the secret behind this?

Before Jesus walked on water, we read in Matthew 14:23 that He went up by Himself to pray. In other words, he went to spend time personally with God!

Beloved, If you want to experience an incredible in life, where storms are no longer an issue to you. Where the storms of life become a walk-over, you must build a strong prayer life and a solid personal relationship with God. You must learn to go by yourself to God, alone. You must develop intimacy with God!

PRAYERS

1. I will not be overwhelmed by the storms of life. I will always come out victorious in Jesus Name.

2. Lord, take me deeper in love with you. Draw me close to your embrace Lord!

3. Lord, please give me a fresh hunger and thirst today for intimacy with You. Put fresh fire on my altar Lord, in the Name of Jesus.
