Our Dress Code Matters

These days, how some people dress and go to church or for an evangelism mission is just like a person going to a nightclub, party or a worldly function which is very ungodly.

Sadly, some church leaders hardly talk about it because of the fear of losing their members.

As a church leader, never think that you can make it to Heaven and not your congregation until and unless they refuse to listen. Always remember that God will one day account for what He has entrusted you with:

Luke 12:48.

"But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."

We claimed to be in a generation where we can dress anyhow and go to church or evangelism. Let no one fool you that your dress codes are not important as a Christian. The Bible says whenever a man looks at a woman lustfully, he commits adultery. Whoever commit adultery will never inherit the Kingdom of God.

The Bible also mentioned that if anyone causes these little ones of mine to sin, it would have been better for that person not to be born. So as a woman who entices men to lust after you, the Bible says is better for you not be born.

Another sad thing, some people will post naked or lustful pictures on social media and after, they will say "I give glory to God" or use any word from the Bible. Please stop insulting God, for God cannot be mocked!

Christianity is not about living your own life, but instead living the life of Christ Jesus. So, please stop insulting and mocking Christ Jesus with your dress code. You are called from darkness to holiness, so live in that holiness!
