These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; NOAH WALKED WITH GOD (Genesis 6:9 NASB).
The Word of God tells us that Noah lived in a time when men were so vile and unreasonable. Men were so wicked that God noted it. And the Bible tells us in verse 5 of chapter 6;
"Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually."
The same Word of God tells us that Noah walked with God; he wasn't infiltrated by the evil that was the order of that generation. And he was the one that God used to deliver his family and other creatures from the flood.
It is so important that we walk with God on a daily basis. Walking with God is not automatic; it's something we work out with heart determination. You purpose in your heart to walk with God.
One main key that makes you able to walk with somebody is the understanding that you have about that person. And this understanding comes in the place of constantly fellowshipping (communing) with that individual. This is what you need as a child of God in order to be able to walk with God_ fellowship.
Now what does it mean to walk with God? TO WALK WITH GOD MEANS TO HEAR GOD'S VOICE [WHICH COMES BY REVELATION OF GOD'S WORD OR FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT], RECOGNIZE IT, ACCEPT IT AND RESPOND TO THAT VOICE ACCORDINGLY.
This voice of God does not drop like oranges; it is received in our hearts in the place of spending time with God. And as you immerse yourself in Him You'll hear Him talk to you. And the truth is God always speaks. He does! But have you spent time to hear Him speak?
The only way our lives can radiate the glory of God is when we walk with Him. The Word of God tells us that God is light (glory) and in Him is no darkness at all. You walk in the light by walking with God; for He is light. The darkness in this world has no chance to stand you as long as you're walking God.
Until you walk with God, you cannot work with God nor work for Him. The reason why some of God's people find it hard to work with God and work for God is because they're distant from God and therefore they aren't induced with God's ability to function like Him.
Men and women of old and new are known for walking with God. The Bible tells us that Enoch walked with God till he got translated that he shouldn't see death (Hebrews 11:5). By walking with God, death couldn't come in contact with him till God took him away. So seek to walk with God and not for God to walk with you. You adjust for God and you'll experience the supernatural.
