The Book of Revelation

The book of Revelation is a book packaged with great mysteries of things that will take place in the future. It unveils great events yet hard to understand, therefore, It takes only the Holy Spirit to perceive its truth. This book is the most fearful and unfortunate book preached in sermons. It has been solemnly sealed in today's sermons; some preachers have the concept that the message from the book of Revelation might instigate some creepy feeling in the minds of believers. Another reason some preachers avoid the Book is due to the lack of understanding in interpreting the book in its right context. Truly, as a result of its mysterious writings, the book of Revelation is hard to comprehend, but the fact behind this should not be a deniable element for preachers to ignore because all the events that will take place in the future has already been drafted up in it. Some parts of the book are fearful while other parts give hope and courage; for fearful events I don't think it should be a problem for genius Christians, in fact, I guess some of those events are there to strengthen and motivate us to live for Christ and bear witness to Him. Fearing those events therefore, is a call for you to examine your life; whether one is living right with God. I had always loved reading the Bible most especially the book of Revelation even when I was still outside Christ, and I must testify to the fact that it was and is still my best Book. I can fully remember that any time I had the chance to read it, I was always gripped with fear, but even with that, I didn't stop reading it. In fact, it seemed more like a passion of reading was instigated in the spirit. With my veiled mind, I kept on reading it over and over and each time I did I would ask myself "why do I keep on reading this fearful book every time?" For so long, I never understood what was going on until I surrendered myself to Christ and received the Holy Spirits baptism, and thence-ford the Holy Spirit began to unveil the great mysteries sealed up in this book of Revelation. After this, the fear that had always gripped me when I read the book suddenly flee and now a great joy always arouses whenever I read it. So far, It is my most favorite book in the Bible, and this is because the mysterious events have been unsealed by the Holy Spirit in its clarity and this always brings a profound joy, hope, courage and an indescribable love for mankind. I urge you to take time and study through the Book of Revelation, you will be astonished on the great mysteries you will discover as you read.
