Daily Tonic || What Are You Becoming? (4)

Text- 1 Thessalonians 5:23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ"

In the past few days, we have been talking about the effective management of your life – Your whole being; Spirit, Soul and Body. As we conclude on this topic today, we will talk about the most important part of your being… Your SpirIt.

What process are you taking your spirit through? What are you becoming?- A sinning Doctor, an occultic Lawyer, an oppressed Teacher, a carnal Banker, or an anointed Professional. Make your choice today.

Let me ask you few questions to grade yourself:

  • Are you born again?

  • Do you belong to a Word-based Church?

  • Do you attend Church services regularly?

  • Who is your Spiritual Father?

  • What divine assignments are you doing currently?

  • How faithful are you in those assignments?

  • What destiny training process are you currently going through?

  • Are you going through the process willingly and obediently?

God made you Spirit, Soul and Body. My sincere admonition to you is this: Care for the whole man! Let no part of your being be left malnourished, most especially your Spirit.

It doesn't matter who you become in life, you can't survive with a poor spirit; it makes you susceptible to satanic assaults and attacks. Bible says in Proverbs 18:14, "The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?"

Beloved, Only Jesus can heal the wounded spirit. If your spirit has been wounded by sinful life and worldly pleasures, I want you to come to Jesus today to heal you up so that you may have sustenance when infirmities show up and so that you may lead a fulfilled life, filled with satisfaction and accomplishments, rather than a miserable life, full of frustration and regrets.

Let me give you some more few tips in building your Spirit man:

  • Study the Scriptures daily

  • Wait upon the Lord regularly

  • Pray ceaselessly and fervently

  • Fear God and serve him faithfully

  • Let your conduct and lifestyle be holy

  • Love the Lord your God wholeheartedly

Ephesians 5:15- "See then that ye walk circumspectly (accurately; carefully)..."

PRAYER

Lord, according to the riches of your glory; strengthened me with power through your Spirit in my inner being. I pray also that my soul prospers and that I will be in good health in Jesus Name.
