In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off] (Galatians 5:1 AMPC).
The Christian has absolute liberty in Christ Jesus. He's not the one trying to get free from bondage.
However, we are expected to stand firm in that liberty and not be subject again to a yoke of bondage. How do you stand in that freedom? You have to know that freedom and function in it by faith. This was what Apostle Paul was letting the believers understand. He made them understand that their freedom in Christ was not based on obeying the law, but by faith in Christ. And that those trying to seek justification by the law have fallen from grace. All that counts is faith which works by love (Galatians 5:2-6).
In Romans 8:1-3, Apostle Paul tells us,
Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice].
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ has made us free from the law of sin and death (spiritual and eternal separation from God).
You that are in Christ cannot be dominated by the law of sin and separation from God. YOU HAVE TO KNOW THIS REALITY. You are not the one looking for deliverance. Do not deceived, You cannot be bound if you're conscious and working in the light of your freedom. The Word of God tells us,
"[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,"
(Colossians 1:13 AMPC).
It does not matter the innumerable forces of demons and devils in the universe; we have victory of them in Christ. Glory to God. Christ gave us liberty of the spirit, soul, and body. We belong to Him. In Him we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28).
Again, Apostle Paul tells us,
'For you, brothers, were called to freedom. Only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity to gratify your flesh, but through love make it your habit to serve one another. For the whole Law is summarized in a single statement: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you are not destroyed by each other' (Galatians 5:13-15 ISV).
Walk in this great freedom we have in Christ. And reject those thoughts of guilt, condemnation, depression and self-inferiority. Always reject those demonic ministrations that come to your mind to weigh you down. Take advantage of the thoughts that the Lord delivers to you from His Word and Spirit. Let no so-called philosophical establishments cause you think otherwise with respect to your freedom in Christ. He that the Son of man has liberated is liberated indeed. God bless and keep you.
