Our Being In Christ.

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]" -2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP

When you came to Christ and got born again, you became a new creature in Him. The old sinful you was done away with and you were recreated in Christ. You a received the God-kind of life in you as one grafted (joined) to the Lord.

God created us in Christ for His purpose. Like I said yesterday, "Before we came on earth, God already had a plan for us." This is before the foundation of the world. The Bible tells us,

"For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]" -Ephesians 2:10 AMP

God preordained a divine life for us to walk in. He recreated us to live the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us before we ever came to the earth.

The question is: is living this God-kind of life in Christ possible? EMPHATICALLY YES. The divine ability is in us to live that life. We are called to live the glorious life.

In 1 Peter 2:9, the Word of God tells us,

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."

We are a divinely chosen race, royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, God's own people prepared to declare and manifest the wonderful deeds, virtues, and excellencies of God Who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. We are not ordinary people. The Lord has made us a sign and a wonder in Christ. Glory to God! Have this consciousness all the time.

You have been called and recreated in Christ and Christ alone.

"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ" - Colossians 2:6-8

God bless and keep you.
