Daily Tonic || The Earnest Expectation (2)

Text- Romans 8:19 – “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”

Beloved, you are not a product of accident. It doesn’t matter how you were conceived; whether you were wanted or unwanted; whether you were planned for or unplanned for; how good or bad your background was – God created you for a specific purpose.

See, you are important; so important that the lives and destinies of some people on this earth are dependent on yours. You may not know them yet, but they exist somewhere on this planet, and they are eagerly waiting, earnestly expecting your manifestation.

What some people’s destiny will feed on is what your own destiny will bring to the table. So you must begin to take yourself serious, and live conscious of the fact that your life, your success, your destiny is going to be some people’s lifeline!

Take Daniel for example, in the land of Babylon. Though he was a slave, the lives of all the wise men in Babylon hanged on his accuracy in the prophetic.

“And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live forever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation. The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.” – Daniel 2:3-5

When Daniel heard this, he gathered his three friends; his destiny company. Together, they prayed and God hearkened. He showed Daniel the King’s dream, and gave him the interpretation. If not for that, all the wise men in Babylon would have perished with their respective households.

Beloved, the time may come that your accuracy in the things of destiny will be some people’s final hope of rescue, and their only lifeline. The advantage Daniel had was the he recognized the power of vital relationships – First with God, then with his destiny company – Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Like Daniel, you must develop intimacy with God, and learn know how to knock the doors of heaven. That is, you must build a strong fellowship and solid prayer life.

Furthermore, you must have your own destiny company, and hold such relationships dear; men and women of like minds; friends who can join you to move mountains; allies who could go the extra mile, and run through troops with you.

I tell you assuredly, the earnest expectation of the creature is waiting for your manifestation. Don’t disappoint them; don’t disappoint God!

PRAYER

Father, may I not disappoint the eager expectation for the manifestation of my divine destiny. Please help me to build necessary and vital relationships that will firmly establish my feet firmly in the place of my destiny in Jesus Name.
