Text- Romans 8:19 – “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”
If there is any major point I want to drive home through this series, it is the fact that you are not just a statistical figure on the earth; you are much more that statistics… You are a destiny on two legs, going somewhere to happen!
I want you to know that the measure of your life is not merely in the number of your days, but in the fulfilment of your destiny; in the manifestation of God’s divine purpose for your life. The whole of creature is waiting for your manifestation.
In the days when Judges ruled in Israel, the children of Israel had been under Philistine captivity for forty years! So God decided to raise a saviour for them, in the person of Samson. See what the angel of the Lord said to his mother
“For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” – Judges 13:5
God’s mandate for him, to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, was the reason why he was conceived in the first place. See, there is a reason why you were conceived. God both foreknew and foreordained you for something tangible before your mother conceived you.
But then you see, the angel gave an instruction – the Child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb! I tell you, instructions and consecrations are very critical to the fulfilment of destiny.
In fact, one of the major reasons for the downfall of Samson was the fact that he began to violate divine instructions and compromised on his consecrations. See, if you will fulfil divine destiny, you cannot afford to joke with divine instructions and consecrations. They will keep you within the perimeters of safety.
Another important thing to note in the story of Samson was the question that his father asked the angel of the Lord:
“And Manoah said; Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?” – Judges 13:12
His father asked, “How shall we order the Child”, and he was given instructions and templates on how to train the child. It is God’s practice to give templates and divine orders to spiritual fathers (spiritual fathers, as well as biological fathers that are spiritually sound) on how to train and raise their children, and prepare them for divine destiny.
You see how Samson’s life revolved around obedience? It’s a major key for anyone who desires to fulfil divine destiny. You must strictly obey divine instructions and consecrations, and listen to the fathers that God has placed in your life. Follow their divine orders, as they guide you step by step into the lace of your divine destiny.
Beloved, the earnest expectation of the creature is waiting for your manifestation. Don’t disappoint them; don’t disappoint God!
PRAYER
Father, may I not disappoint the earnest expectation for the manifestation of my divine destiny. Please help me to be fully obedient to divine instructions, to fully adhere to divine consecrations and to faithfully embrace the divine process that will firmly establish my feet firmly in the place of my destiny in Jesus Name.
