The death and resurrection of Jesus means that when He rose from death, I did too. It is the Provision of Life.
There are 3 dimensions of Life, given in the beginning:
1. Genesis 1:7 - The Word of Life. It was from the Word of God. It gave Life to the animals.
2. Genesis 2:9 - The Life of the Spirit. It was breathed into man.
3. Genesis 2:9 - God the Father made the Tree of Life.
🎯Man sinned after eating the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This sin brought death. Death is the removal of life. Man lost the Life of The Spirit. We died a spiritual death.
🎯God chased man from the Garden of Eden, and put angels to guard the Tree of Life. We had no access to it.
🎯 The only provision of divine life left on the earth was in the animals, who were made by The Word of Life. The life of flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), so, God instituted the sacrifice of animals as a temporary solution.
🎯 The practice of sacrifice was to eat the flesh and to sprinkle the blood. But John 6:51 tells us the flesh profited nothing. How much life can that give?
🎯The goal of God was to redeem man to Himself and to give him back the life he had lost. So the Word of Life came as flesh. Jesus said, except you eat of the flesh, (the Word) and drink of the blood (the Spirit), you have no life in you. John 6:53.
This is a total package of supply of Life with the Word and the Spirit. The Bible also promises that when we go to the Glory Beyond we will partake of the Tree of Life. A total restoration! Listen to understand this more about this mystery.
