The Love of God

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world so that He might condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved" (John 3:16-17 LOGOS).

The love of God is the greatest gift to mankind. This is the love that brought forth salvation from sin, sickness, disease, evil, eternal condemnation and all that pertains to Satan, and grants us a place in Christ.

God so loved sinful man that He gave His only Son that anyone who accepts Him will have eternal life. This is how great His love is towards us. If you are reading this message, I want you to know beyond every rational and irrational doubt that God loves you. This love of God has nothing to do with your good works. The Word of God tells us,

"While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation], at the right time Christ died [as a substitute] for the ungodly. Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die. But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:6-8 AMP).

God clearly shows and proves His own love for us [I love this construction] that while were still sinners, the Lord Jesus came and died for us. Christ did not die when we were righteous; He died for us when we were sinners. And justified us by His shed blood. Did you see that?

Never come to a place of self condemnation for your ungodly acts. God does not condemn you; He desires your salvation. That condemnation has the ability to drive you away from God's love if you allow it to take charge. And many have let it drive them away. It should not be like that. The Word of God reveals to us that the Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient towards us, not wishing for ANY to perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

No matter how vile and ruthless an individual is, God still loves him or her and desires their salvation. His salvation is for all.

However, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ the Son of God, you are condemned. But all you need to do is to accept Him and let Him be the Lord of your life and you will receive the God-kind of life in you.

God loves you and He will always love you. Nothing in the whole of creation is strong or capable enough to stop or reduce God's love for you. Of course this great love of God is not a license to live in sin, NO. Be conscious of His love for you always. Glory to God. God bless and keep you.
