“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” -Hebrews 11:3 KJV
The universe we exist in and call our home came into being at the instance of God’s Word, the fabric of our reality was knit from the very words that came from the lips of the Creator. When He spoke, things that previously did not exist came into being, God literally called out existence from inexistence by the power of the utterances He made.
Romans 4:17 says “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” (emphasis added)
We have been made after that very same nature – the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26), that means we share in that same creative ability and process that is initiated whenever we speak. Reality was fashioned from God’s Word and it has not stopped responding to it. In fact, God’s Word is what still holds it all together till date, even down to the smallest atom.
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” –Hebrews 1:3 KJV
We live in a “Word Universe” and creation will forever be affected by the vehicles of creative power that are the words that we speak, and what’s more you don’t even have to be a regenerated man to wield such power. All it takes is to be a human being with a mouth that can speak!
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Your reality, your environment, your sphere, your universe, all of it are at the mercy of the words that you are speaking. You hold the power that can make or break the world around you and God was intentional about giving you the privilege of sharing in this ability because in it would be the key to carrying out your responsibility of governing the systems of this World on His behalf.

When God was not satisfied with the grip of darkness over the world, He spoke the Word that caused light to shine forth upon it. Today it is not enough to know what God has said about you to cause it to become a reality, you need to partner with Him in agreement by speaking those same Words until you see them come into manifestation.
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” –Deuteronomy 30:19
What words have you have been releasing into the atmosphere and how have they shaped your current reality? Have they painted the picture of what God desires for your life or have they made something that is a far cry from what God would call good.
”I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” -Isaiah 62:6-7
One day I came across this verse and it dawned on me that within the context of creation and the universe that God has made, the responsibility lies on us to speak the desire of God into reality, it is not enough for us to know the good and perfect will of God or that His desire for us to have a future and a hope but until we decide to start talking like it, we may never see it happen.
In verse one of that same chapter it says ” For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth”. Quoting a statement made by my spiritual father in one of his sermons, he said “whoever speaks consistently has the upper hand in the Spirit realm, so don’t stop speaking”. The manifestation of your God-given authority is tied to how well you decide to use the creative power of the words you speak.
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” -2nd Corinthians 4:13
The time has come for you to echo the Words that will cause the world around you to reverberate at the impulse of the will and counsel of God. Take a stand for your life, your family, your place of work and your territory; begin to partner with God by making declarations that will cause your reality to shape up. Refuse to say anything negative or faithless because creation will respond to it, be determined not to let your words be the reason why darkness will begin to spread in our universe again.
Again I say we live in a word universe, what reality will you create the next time words come through of your lips?
