What Are You Thankful For?

The year is coming to an end or sorry it already has but can we be real? What are you thankful for? Please tell me, what really are you thankful to God for? There should be at least ten things in your life to be Grateful to God for.

See, whether you and I likes it or not GOD HAS BEEN GOOD TO US & OUR FAMILY.

My Mom will always say, if there's LIFE there's HOPE.

Being alive alone is a Great reason to thank God.

Do you know that, a lot of people who came into 2019 with us couldn't even live to see this faithful day but here we are, STRONG & HEALTHY.

So, when I ask you what you are thankful for, you should be able to answer.

The bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

God wants us to be thankful and it has to do with every aspect of our lives; the good, bad, happy, sad, rocky, rainy, stormy etc you name it. Just like we have different seasons, same way we also have different seasons in our lives.

In those times when you can't eat, you do not have food on your table or better still when you don't even know how this Christmas will be for you. Let's not talk about not having any Christmas or New year cloth to wear because of how "dark red" your bank account is. But then, despite it all God is saying we should be THANKFUL.

You can't receive more if you've chosen not to be thankful for the ones that you have already been given.

Let me end with the story of the TEN LEPERS in Luke 17:11-19;

Jesus healed these men with leprosy and they were ten to be specific but sadly,only one returned back to Glorify Him and Jesus was wondering why the others didn't at least come back to do same.

Hmmm, now I know you felt that was how the story ended but NO, the story didn't end there you know why? Because, Jesus later on went to tell this Man who had returned back with a grateful heart that "He has been made whole" (Luke 17:19) which means, he has been healed of all diseases and not just leprosy.

Can you see the power of THANKS?

Please tell me, is it until you have leprosy that you will realise God has done so much for you?

Is it there and then you will realise there is so much to be thankful to God for? I wouldn't be surprise if your lack of thanksgiving is one of the hindrances to your blessings because A GRATEFUL HEART GETS MORE & A CLOSED MOUTH IS A CLOSED DESTINY.

We still have few days left before the year comes to an end and i'm hoping you see AMAZING reasons to give THANKS to GOD.
